宮崎県五ヶ瀬の茶匠・宮崎さんの創り上げたバランスの良い台湾スタイルの烏龍茶。宮崎県でしか使われていない『たかちほ』という品種を無農薬、ほぼ無施肥で育て上げ、低温萎凋と丁寧な発酵でハーブのような清涼感と香ばしさのバランスが素晴らしい烏龍茶に仕上げております。
水出し(1l当り10-20gの茶葉を入れて冷蔵庫で6-24時間抽出)にしても美味しくいただけるお茶です。

Gokase town in the northern part of Miyazaki prefecture (south of Kyushu island) presents a unique terroir surrounded by volcanic caldera of Aso to the North and deep Takachiho mountains to the South.
With all his tea gardens free of agrochemicals (and almost free of any fertilisers, including organics), Miyazaki-san manages to extract the most of this unique terroir while gently caring of the land he works.
This Taiwan-style red tea made from rare “Takachiho” cultivar (we’ve tried both first and second flush; conclusion – second is better this year) is masterly fermented to produce a fruity and savoury liquor of beautiful amber colour. A beautiful tea to start a day or to finish a meal with.
